World Pharmacy Week

World Pharmacy Week

From 21 to 25 September, during FIP Virtual 2020, we will be celebrating the entire profession ― pharmacists, scientists, educators and the pharmacy team ― who have done so much during the COVID-19 pandemic. You’re invited to join us to learn about pharmacy initiatives and services from our members and to find out about a variety of research projects and findings from different countries. The week will culminate with the 10th World Pharmacists Day.

Pharmacy’s response to COVID-19 – A virtual exhibition: how to participate

The COVID-19 pandemic is a landmark event in global health. It has not only impacted public health and pharmaceutical practice, sciences and education, but has also elicited a mass response from our profession. It is important to document this event for present and future generations so that we can reflect on what we did well and how we can be better prepared for future pandemics. In collaboration with FIP, the Pharmacy Museum of the National Association of Pharmacies of Portugal is organising a virtual exhibition, and you are invited to contribute to this project and make it truly global. Please share any images of objects or relevant materials that stand as evidence of how pharmacists in your country contributed to the control of the pandemic or were affected by it with Mr João Neto, curator of the exhibition (joao.neto@anf.pt) by 10 December 2020, including a brief description of the item (max 100 words).
